Memphis City Gardens, under the umbrella of the South Main Association, is a group of enthusiastic Downtown Memphians who have an appreciation for the environment and are working hard to convert a long forgotten field into a productive organic garden. Memphis City Gardens wants to provide other urban dwellers the opportunity to work in their own garden and the satisfaction of growing their own food.
